The government of India has made the procedure for acquisition of Indian citizenship simpler, faster and transparent. Accordingly, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) of the Government of India have introduced a new procedure for applying online for Indian citizenship. Applicants can now make application online for quick processing by concerned agencies. The new procedure is available on MHA’s website.
