Reopening of Tourist visa

Foreign nationals intended to travel to India for tourism purposes will be allowed to enter into India on E-Tourist Visa/regular tourist visa issued by the mission through chartered filghts (Group Tourism only) from 15th October 2021.

All individual foreign nationals intended to travel to India for tourism purposes through scheduled or non scheduled commercial filghts , Air Bubble scheme or Vande Bharat Mission would be permitted to enter India from 15th November 2021.

The above mentioned foreign nationals would require to obtain a fresh E-Tourist visa or regular tourist visa . Existing valid E-tourist visa /regular tourist visa continue to remain suspended. Fresh  E-tourist visa /regular tourist visa will be granted for 30 days with single entry.

Such foreign nationals shall be permitted to enter India by either Sea route or by flights and will not be permitted to enter through land LCPs(Land Check Posts).
